On Sunday, July 16, 2017, Home and Garden Television (HGTV) premiered a Caribbean Life episode filmed on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Episode 904 (season nine, episode 4) showcased the search for a perfect island family home, led by Real Estate Agent Kerri Hanley. Filming took place in December 2016.

This beautiful home in Southgate Farm closed in January 2017. It was listed at $575,000 and closed at a purchase price of $530,000. Named for the many palm trees on the property, the house touted a driveway lined with mature agave. The Caribbean Sea and Buck Island views were the predominant feature with a wrap-around balcony.
“Ruins Place”
This unique estate in Judith’s Fancy also closed in January 2017. It was originally listed at $650,000 and closed at $565,000. Sea view along with the expansive pool and deck were some of the selling points for this home. Alongside the property line, sit historical stone ruins and a huge green space.
“Coconut Way”
This “fixer upper” home, also in the Judith’s Fancy neighborhood, was selected by the home owners profiled on the show. It closed in late 2016. The house was recently listed at $425,000 and closed at $340,000. With an acre of flat land, this home was ideal for a family with young children. A two-story deck provided outdoor entertaining area and Caribbean Sea views. The four bedroom, three bath home was budget-friendly for the space needs of a family of four with guest space to spare.
