Children’s Color Run in Christiansted Kicks Off Triathlon Weekend

The V.I. Track & Field Federation hosted their annual children’s run on Friday at the start of the Jump-Up Festival in Christiansted.

More than 200 children ages 13 and under ran from Market Square to Fort Christiansvaern, a record number of runners.  For the first time an element of color was added, as racers were sprinkled with dyed cornstarch along the route.
