There is a popular new food truck on St. Croix, Ana’s Living Food, serving healthy and fresh options. Currently stationed at the bypass traffic light east of Christiansted to serve weekday lunch, this bright red truck is also parked near Fort Frederik on cruise ship days. Ana’s website is currently under construction, but will be at www.anaslivingfood.com. Questions about the truck’s current location or menu offerings can be directed to 340-244-0872.
Local food trucks were a favorite of Andrew Zimmern, host of The Travel Channel’s show “Bizarre Foods,” when he visited St. Croix in January of last year. He enjoyed The Thomas’ food truck parked in front of the Water and Power Authority (WAPA) plant, as well as the Joe Can Cook truck.
