St. Croix Educational Complex Wins Territory Wide Wind Power Competition

A team of students from St. Croix Educational Complex High School took top honors in the KidWind Challenge on Saturday in St. Thomas.

This is the first time the U.S. Virgin Islands took part in this national program.

Kids were supplied with a basic kit to produce their wind turbines, but were free to use creative ideas to customize their contest submissions.
