Tourism in the U.S. Virgin Islands Grows

The Caribbean Tourism Organization recently held their annual summit to review year-over-year tourism data. 

2013 showed growth in the industry, most importantly an increase in visitor spending to more than $28 billion (a 2.3 percent increase). 

Last year the U.S. Virgin Islands saw a record-breaking number of overall visitors, while hotels saw room revenues make a sizable jump of 7.5 percent.
