Christiansted Real Estate
Christiansted (CH) is the main town of St. Croix, and home of the Virgin Islands Government House. This area encompasses the historic town of Christiansted and all of the National Park Service facilities and attractions, including five preserved historic structures: Fort Christiansvaern (1738), the Danish West India & Guinea Company Warehouse (1749), the Steeple Building (1753), Danish Custom House (1844), and the Scale House (1856). There is a beautiful walking tour that takes you through these and many other attractions in the town.
The town itself is home to several hotels, including King Christian, Hotel Caravelle, and Company House, and the Hotel on the Cay is located in Christiansted Harbor and is accessible by a small ferry. The northern section of Christiansted along the waterfront is primarily businesses, including boutiques and restaurants, while the southern area that continues up a hill is mostly residential. There are many restaurants in the town as well as night life and bars.
