Christiansted (CH) is the main town of St. Croix, and home of the Virgin Islands Government House.This area encompasses the historic town of Christiansted and all of the National Park Service facilities and attractions, including five preserved historic structures: Fort Christiansvaern (1738), the Danish West India & Guinea Company Warehouse (1749), the Steeple Building (1753), Danish Custom House (1844), and the Scale House (1856). There is a beautiful walking tour that takes you through these and many other attractions in the town. Hotel on the Cay is located in Christiansted Harbor and is easily accessible by a small ferry. The northern section of Christiansted along the waterfront is primarily businesses while the southern area that continues up a hill is mostly residential. There are many restaurants in the town as well as night life and bars.
