So you want to buy a condo on St. Croix…

You’ve come to the right place! Buying a condo on St. Croix is a great way to begin your Caribbean life! Among the 30-plus condo complexes from east to west, Farchette & Hanley can help you find the right condo for sale, based on location, budget, unit size, and amenities that suit your wants and needs.

Purchasing a condo comes with a built-in community and recreational amenities, such as a pool and tennis courts, and even beach access and golf. Plus, with HOAs that maintain the complex exteriors and grounds, you’ll never have to worry about mowing the lawn or keeping your hurricane insurance up to date. Many complexes also allow owners to AirBnB or VRBO their units as vacation rentals, so you can get back a little on your investment when you’re not enjoying your little slice of paradise yourself.

We put together this guide to the most popular condo complexes on St. Croix so that you can make an informed decision about your future St. Croix condo purchase. Here you’ll find info about locations and unit sizes and complex amenities, as well as basic rules and regulations, such as whether pets are allowed. As you peruse St. Croix condo listings, you may notice the HOA fees are higher than what you see on the mainland — this is on account of the high premiums for windstorm (hurricane) insurance. But when you consider the costs of insuring and maintaining an island residential home, you’ll see that condos offer a great bang for the buck for the part-time resident or savvy investor.
